OUR AIMS | Ár n-aidhmeanna

As a Catholic School, we aim to provide an education for the total child embracing the spiritual, moral, intellectual, aesthetical, social and physical factors.

We aim:

  1. To foster in each child responsible and caring attitudes towards society as a whole, based on love of God and neighbour.
  2. To create an environment within the school where children feel accepted and loved as unique persons.
  3. To foster an atmosphere of security, mutual trust and harmony which will enable the children to learn willingly and develop into responsible adults.
  4. To involve parents, to co-operate with and to encourage them as the first educators of the child.
  5. To ensure that each child, in so far as this is possible, achieves his/her potential academically.

It is the intention here in Our Lady and St Patrick Primary School/ Bunscoil Mhuire agus Phádraig, to provide the full range of activities necessary to fulfil our stated aims and to build on the many successes of our pupils.
