🔍 Let’s look into LSC1 🔎

This half term, LSC1 have been busy learning all about Pirates 🏴‍☠️ and what an adventure it’s been!

With the help of our amazing P7 Buddies, the boys used Green Screen to transform themselves onto pirate ships, and used Adobe to create their own pirates and pirate ships. 🎨⚓️

�They also enjoyed making pirate cookies and cupcakes with our friends in P6 during cookery – lots of fun (and yummy results!) 🧁🍪

In Literacy, the boys loved reading Pirates Love Underpants and created fantastic ‘wanted’ posters and other work inspired by the story. 📚✨

In Numeracy, the boys have been working incredibly hard on numbers and place value, using dienes to support their learning – super effort all round!

Well done, LSC1, for another brilliant half term of learning and fun 🌟

Christmas Magic at LSC1

Today the children in LSC1 were kindly invited to the home of the Martin Family to see their amazing Christmas lights display. The boys were absolutely delighted—and even received a special surprise when Santa and the Grinch appeared with a treat for each of them! 🎅💚

It truly was a magical visit- one the boys won’t soon forget. A huge thank you to the Martin Family for their kindness, generosity, and festive spirit. ❤️

People who help us

This half term we are learning all about people who help us. We began by thinking about all the wonderful people who help us every day in school. The children decided that we should thank them for always looking after us and making our time in school safe and special.

To show our appreciation, we made cupcakes and a card for Mr Robinson, Claire, Paddy and our lovely canteen staff.

This week, we also visited Matthew at Specsxpress to learn all about how He helps us with our vision. Thank you, Matthew for having us.

On our way back to school, we called into Poundland to buy some Christmas decorations and we were kindly helped by Louise.

Visiting Santa

The pupils from LSC1 and LSC2 had the pleasure today of meeting Santa at the Elf Emporium in St Patrick Centre and even got the chance to tell them what they wished to get for Christmas.
