Let's Look into LSC2

🔍 Let’s look into: LSC2 🔎

LSC2 have been enjoying lots of different learning experiences in the second term.

📖 We have been making amazing progress with reading and independent writing and exploring place value and measurements in Numeracy.

📚 We have joined the Library and selected books to read at home and in school.

☘️ We had fun looking for evidence of St Patrick in our town, visiting the Cathedral and St Patrick’s grave.

🖼️ We experimented with ‘foil art’ to make stained glass windows for Lent and of course we celebrated the ‘Mother Figures’ in our lives by making beautiful flower bouquets.

🖥️ In our ICT suite we composed fabulous melodies in Chrome Music Lab.

We can’t wait for what our final term has in store!

Let's look into LSC2

LSC2 have been working hard across the curriculum. In World Around Us, we finished our topic ‘Get Healthy, Stay Healthy’ - we learned all about looking after our bodies and minds. In Numeracy we’ve been working on ‘Time’ and our number bonds and times-tables. We’ve explored the books of ‘Martin Waddell’ to reinforce our grammar and punctuation rules and practice our spelling strategies too. But we still found time to prepare for Christmas - having lots of festive fun… and there’s plenty more to come. See you in the new year 🥳

Welcome back to LSC2 for 2023. We are delighted to be back to school and are already working hard on our goals and targets for 2023. Over the past few days we have been extremely busy Coding, baking and working on our fine motor skills alongside our literacy and numeracy work.
Below is just a snippet of what we have been up to so far this year, but please keep a close eye on our class page for regular updates on life in LSC2.

Visiting Santa

The pupils from LSC1 and LSC2 had the pleasure today of meeting Santa at the Elf Emporium in St Patrick Centre and even got the chance to tell them what they wished to get for Christmas.
