    P6 had a great start to the week when Alex the table tennis coach appeared in their classroom to teach them a few skills. They learnt all about balance, the correct position to hold the bat and even had a few games. A great time was had by all. Alex will be returning for the next 3 weeks.

  • Learning about angles

    P6CM have been investigating angles. They named the different types of angles and went on an angle search around the school taking photos. The photos were collated into Pic Collages. They went on to participate in a carousel of activities which involved labelling, sorting and measuring with a protractor.

  • Outdoor Learning

    Making the most of the sunshine, some of the pupils had the chance to go outside and use our new outdoor classroom. We have been looking at converting units of measurement, so we headed outside with our rulers, metre sticks and trundle wheels to put our learning into practice.

  • Wee Critters

    P6 enjoyed a visit from Allan from 'Wee Critters' on Tuesday 9th May. The pupils interacted with a variety of animals including a cockroach, snake and parrots. The visit was both entertaining and informative.

  • World Book Day 2023

    P6CM were busy celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 2nd March. They wrote collaborative adventure stories, discussed their favourite books and created a charter on the rights of the reader, creating posters on the iPad to illustrate them.
