Mathematics & Numeracy | Mata & Uimhreas

Our Mathematics and Numeracy policy emphasises the pupil’s ability to perform both mental and written calculations.

From an early stage the children are introduced to number, shape, measurement, and data handling based on the programme of study of the Northern Ireland Curriculum.

Work in mathematics is approached through practical activities, investigative work and use of calculators and computers.

By the end of KS2 the children will have a sound grasp of the basic Mathematical processes.
